If a restaurant can be called a second home, then that's what Cafe Osiris is to many Riga people. With its fireplace, classical music and regular exhibitions of the renowned artist Ilmars Blumbergs is a great centrally located rendezvous. This restaurant hasn't got more than 10 tables, but it is always busy and most of the people here know each other. It is like a concentrate of Riga's social life - politicians, actors, artists, students and an occasional guest of Riga. If you choose a table near window it is a great place to people watch and to see the daily life of Riga, but the two black sofas are always favourites - when you sit in those - time flies.
